ARTE SACRA - MADONNA
La Vergine Maria è la massima espressione dell’amore e dell’armonia universale (Tota Pulchra); è Madre e Sposa mistica del Signore, è l’incarnazione della Grazia Divina e regina dell’Apocalisse.
Nel medioevo era chiamata “Stella Mattutina” , nell’iconografia occidentale è rappresentata come “Illuminata dalla Grazia Divina” e capace di resistere al diavolo tentatore.
Dopo la Controriforma Maria appare come “Mediatrice della Grazia Divina”, in seguito come “l’Immacolata Concezione” emblema di purezza che viene rappresentata in natura dal fiore puro per eccellenza: il giglio.
Nelle immagini attuali è rappresentata come una fanciulla vestita di sole, con i piedi appoggiati sulla luna e con una corona di stelle sul capo.

In the Middle Ages she was called the "Morning Star", although in Western
iconography she is represented as "Enlightened by divine grace" and able to resist the tempter.
After the Counter-Reformation, Mary appears as the
"Mediatrix of Divine Grace", then as the "Immaculate Conception", an emblem of purity, represented by the lily.
In the current image she is represented as a maiden clothed with the sun, with feet flat on the moon and a crown of stars on her
head.
ARTE SACRA - ANGELI
Gli Angeli sono mediatori fra Dio e il mondo, sono esseri puramente spirituali, dotati quindi di un corpo aereo, vengono rappresentati con sembianze umane. Le loro funzioni sono quelle di ministri di Dio, quindi messaggeri e guardiani oltre che esecutori di leggi. In sostanza formano l’esercito di Dio, la Suacorte, la Suacasa, trasmettono i Suoi ordini e vegliano sempre sul mondo.
I tre principali arcangeli sono Michele (vincitore del drago), Gabriele (messaggero e iniziatore) e Raffaele (guida dei medici e dei viaggiatori). Ogni persona è assistita da un angelo custode che in ogni momento può essere: il pedagogo, il protettore e la guida per tutta la vita
L’angelo, in quanto messaggero, è sempre portatore di ” buona novella” per l’anima.
ANGELS
The Angels are mediators between God and the world, they are pure and spiritual beings, and are
here represented in a human form. Their functions are those of the ministers of God, messengers and guardians as well as executors of laws. They form the army of God, His court, His
home.
There are three main Archangels: Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.Each person is assisted by a guardian angel in every moment of his life - and each angel can become a teacher, a
protector and guide.
The Angel, as a messenger, is always the bearer of "good news" for the soul.
